RAID: ADAPTEC 52445 vs ARECA 1680ix


We all know that Adaptec
and Areca are two of the biggest names in RAID
technology today. However, one is a newcomer,
while the other is a seasoned veteran with accolades
a mile long. Today, we look at their to-end
offerings in terms of SAS RAID adapters used in
conjunction with Seagate's Cheetah 15k.7 HDDs, no
doubt the fastest magnetic HDD out there.
