We all know about
Hitachi's acquisition of IBM's old hard drive
division. So its no surprise that Hitachi is
one of the innovative market leaders in the storage
industry. Here, we will look at their 2.5" SAS
HDD, designed for space-saving blade systems and 1U
rackmounts where space and power must be absolutely
optimized.

Yes this is a 10K 2.5"
HDD with 16MB of cache. No, it wont fit in
your laptop even if it had SAS because of its 14.8mm
height. 147GB is still pretty darn impressive
for a 2.5" HDD!

two of these drives and see how they fared in
