drive tested to date. In fact, some tests are
only within a few percent of the WD 740GD Raptor.
Most likely, the 16MB buffer is responsible for such
as astonishing display of HDD excellence. With
300GB of cavernous space, its not the biggest one
out there, but its speed makes up for it, forcing
HDD buyers to reconsider their purchasing decisions.
