The 9690SA-8I is a
low-profile card, with two multi-lane mini-SAS
connectors. Not much to this card, most likely
because it is the first-generation SAS-capable card
made by LSI. Perhaps future siblings will
sport memory slots and battery back-up units.
Also, the same 3DM2 GUI is used to configure this
card from within Windows.
Now we show the results.

second batch use SAS 15k RPM HDDs:
