MSI MS-1057 CORE 2 DUO NOTEBOOK
The MSI MS-1057 "whitebook"
MSI builds plenty of
high-quality products, and most of them are very
unique and innovative. The MS-1057 is one of
those products. It has a small, compact form
factor, a 12.1" WXGA display, and best of all, is
compatible with the Core 2 Duo Mobile CPU. It
comes with Intel GMA 950 graphics, obviously not
designed for gamers, but that's fine for work.
We'll build a gamer's notebook another day...
The MS-1057 does not
come with some things you've come to expect from
newer models of portables: SATA HDD interface,
DVI-I port, docking station interface, slot-load
drive, CF slot, and I was hoping to someday have a
backlit keyboard on a notebook too...
