HAUPPAUGE WINTV PVR-250

Inside the retail box of the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 250 is the card itself, IR remote, IR receiver, 2x AA batteries, documentation, and a software CD which includes the drivers, WinTV2000, WinTV-Scheduler, WinTV MPEG Editor, and Ulead DVD Movie Factory:

The PVR-250 is a full-size, 3.3v PCI card.  Unlike other TV tuner cards which are 5v, 3.3v PCI cards will work in 64-bit PCI slots. 

Above the tuner can you will see a white connector.  This connector is used for the add-in A/V input cable bracket shown below, which is purchased separately:

Here are the rear-bracket connectors of the PVR-250:

From left to right:  CATV input, S-Video input, Composite video input, 3.5mm stereo audio input, and jack for IR receiver.
